The Finance Office is responsible for the administration of the City’s financial records including financial reporting, cash management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash receipts, and fixed asset accounting. The Finance Office also oversees receipt of payment for all utility services and setting up service accounts, and processing billings for water, wastewater, and garbage.
The Finance Office also handles the retention of all agendas,
minutes, ordinances, resolutions and the issuance of business licenses
and renewals.
Elections
The Finance Office is responsible for municipal elections including setting the schedule, verifying petition signatures, printing ballots and managing polling locations.
