Plans and Specifications
The Engineering Division oversees plans and specifications for most city projects including:
- Equipment purchases
- GIS mapping
- Parking lots
- Sewer
- Sidewalk
- Storm sewer
- Street
- Water, etc.
Responsibilities
The Engineering Department is responsible for all Public Works Projects. Projects include:
- Airport improvements
- City streets
- Detentions ponds
- Industrial park additions
- Landfill improvements
- Lift stations
- Sanitary sewers
- Storm sewers
- Urban system projects
Additional Services
The department provides surveying, design, construction inspection, project management services, and (GIS) for the department, other Public Works Departments, and other City Departments. These services include the following activities:
