The James Valley Community Center (JVCC) is a multi-generational community focal point for services and programs in Mitchell and the surrounding area. The JVCC is a City of Mitchell facility that is dedicated to providing participants with a variety of leisure, recreational, cultural and educational activities in a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment. The JVCC also houses the city offices of Palace Transit, Mitchell Volunteer Program, and the Adult Nutrition Program.
There are a variety of recreational organized programs available, such as:

Membership
Any person 18 years of age may become a member and participate in activities held at the JVCC by simply filling out the Membership Form and paying the yearly dues. The option to become a lifetime member is also available.

Note: All Non-Members must pay $1 each time he/she participates in a JVCC activity (excluding Bingo).
Lunch & Transportation
The JVCC also offers a daily Lunch Nutrition Program and Transportation to and from the center.
Note: You do not need to be a member of the JVCC to participate in the Nutrition or Transportation programs.
