Adopt-An-Access

DSC06762

The Adopt-An-Access program gives opportunities for groups or individuals to adopt Lake Mitchell Access Points.  This program allows organizations to participate in the Adopt an Access program by picking up litter and conducting other authorized enhancement work.  Volunteers are asked to clean their access points no less than three times per year or as needed. The Department will provide work gloves, trash bags, safety vests, and will haul the collected garbage away from the access areas.

There are 24 Adopt-An-Access areas around lake Mitchell. We currently have several areas available for adoption, if you are interested, please contact Angel DeWaard via phone (605-995-8450) or email (adewaard@cityofmitchell.org).
