Mitchell Public Library is closed on the following holidays:

- Memorial Day

- Labor Day
- Native American Day
- Veterans Day
- Thanksgiving
- Christmas Eve at
- Christmas DAy
The library may be closed on the Friday preceding or Monday following if the holiday falls on a weekend.
