Resources and "stories from a small planet." The website is no longer updated and has been replaced by the PBS Frontline Teacher Center, but it still has content available for use. Includes materials that discuss world culture, geography, economics, history, and politics.

The World Factbook provides basic intelligence on the history, people, government, economy, energy, geography, environment, communications, transportation, military, terrorism, and transnational issues for 266 world entities. The World Factbook is maintained by the CIA.

World Book is an American encyclopedia designed to cover significant areas of knowledge uniformly. The encyclopedia has been published since 1917. It is an excellent source for scientific, technical, historical, and medical subjects. The library has the most current edition available in the reference section. The previous edition is available in adult nonfiction for checkout.

The Purdue University Online Writing Lab houses writing resources and instructional materials to users worldwide. The site covers topics like avoiding plagiarism, citation and format styles, and more.

Citation Machine is a Chegg service that allows users to create citations for over 7000 citation styles. The free version of the website does make you watch an advertisement after making a few citations. It's important to review the citation to ensure that all necessary information in included.
