1. Am I responsible if my water service is leaking?

Yes, you are responsible to repair your leaky water service from the water main, in the right of way, to your house or business. All service line valves shall also be in working order. Please call 605-995-8449 for more information.

3. Is the water in Mitchell safe to drink?

4. Why is my water pressure low?

Several things can temporarily cause reduced water pressure in your home or business:

The staff at the Water Treatment Plant has tested water from over 30 different sites throughout the city for the past several years for both lead and copper.
